Independent filmmaker, theatre director, creativepreneur, journalist, lecturer/trainer
He founded the Miracelova Screen Institute (gonationbuilding.com), an independent organization that manages the film industry's SDGs and digital content empowerment for local community development prog.He is now in the Nusawood.com creative industry of theatrical//film fantasy sci-fi cultural based and prosthetic local crafts.
His background also includes being the founder of Baliwood Archipelago Integration (BINA) until now as one of the cultural programs and Intl. Co-Production for the World Micro-Budget Film Industry (film villages), World Intercultural Micro-Film Friendship Panels from 2019.
He is also the initiator of Baliwood Silkroads film gallery as for the local characters' Myth SFX Silicone Prosthetic film mask's new community development and the founder of Indonesian Superkids TV College to continue his Superkids film Camp. Also Javawood Studio Academy in Yogyakarta, Central Java (www.JavawoodStudios.com).
Arvin is also one of 20 selected arts workers to develop a theater school in Jakarta by the Education and Cultural Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia, GSMS Prog,2023. Arvin is also selected as a special lecturer on Indonesian campuses by the Education and Cultural Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia. He is also part of the HR creative economy blueprint for the HR dept of Creative Economy / Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, 2022.
From 2015 to 2018, he was the CEO/Director of the Indonesian Military TV Media and Nation Building Film Festv,which was run by the Indonesian Army headquarters.
As director/producer, he was doing musical theater shows with more than 200 actors in the Indonesian main theater, TIM Center, twice (students and army), in 2012 & 2017.
His indie film production is also published on OTT Global platforms such as Roku, Mobibase, Amazon,Tubi,etc.
He has received several prestigious awards, including the IYCE British Council Awards and Nokia as the 1st winner of International Screen 2011.FEB Airlangga University also bestowed honors in Community Media Development 2018 and Raising Stars 2017. In 2018, he received his honoris causa from American Trinity University for Film Comdev.
His educational background includes a diploma from Henry Clay HS ( KY, USA) in his excellence awards.
He graduated in 1999 with an economic degree from Airlangga Univ, even though his passion was different.
Continuing with Magister Management STIE Abi and graduated MBA open college of Portman, and some professional certification in arts and film industry, he is also the CEO and faculty member of Portman College,
an Indonesian Reps agency.
Before his love for music, film, and education, he created TV programs for 20 local TV networks, namely SMTV (Student Music Television), for 5 years (2009–2014). During his previous high school years in Xaverius Palembang, he studied traditional theater.
Arvin also runs the TV program "Talk With Arvin," which focuses on knitting together the knowledge and culture of the nation on TV Desa/Village Ministry TV, satellite FTA. and some podcast platforms, with more than 50 eps already (2022).
